My Story
Thirty years ago, aged 24, a single decision changed my life - to sell everything I owned and head off to the Kalahari Desert with my Leica R5 stills camera and photography the story of Africa’s oldest hunter-gatherers.
It ended up being a hair-raising adventure, but I got by story published and it also kick started my career as a documentary filmmaker.
Since then, I’ve gone on to make over 50 high-end documentaries for famous names like National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Red Bell, Amazon Prime and countless more.
My travel photography has also been sold, published and exhibited all over the world.

The answer, initially was always ‘no’.
Then it hit me - because I myself learned everything the hard way with no courses and no mentors, could there maybe a way to share everything I have learned on my own journey with my fellow travel-lovers?
Could I offer something to people like YOU, reading this now? People who, like myself, are passionate travel and capturing its wonders through the lens?

So I’ve spent a whole year trying to condense everything I’ve learned during my 30 year career - mistakes and all - into a masterclass-level teaching method that will allow you to enjoy that transformation your own travel stories that you have always wanted.
Yes, I’ve had far too many coffees getting this thing launched!
And, don’t worry, I won’t be asking you to sell up and run to the desert like I did!
However, I want you to know that I’ve indeed put my heart and soul into creating these courses. I won’t lie. It’s been hard work trying to structure a lifetime’s real life field experience into an accessible, practical and highly enjoyable and engaging form of learning.
