Filming Expeditions - make travel documentaries with an National Geographic filmmaker
It’s taken me a long time to say - yes!
But after many years of being asked if anyone can join me on my travel filming adventures…
…I’ve finally put together some opportunities for genuine travel-lovers and aspiring filmmakers who crave a life changing documentary filming experience.
During each 10 day trip the participant will make their own ‘mini’ documentary from start to finish.
For aspiring creators & travel filmmakers, this will provide them with an incredible, professional quality showcase which can be used to advance their career or help get entry into high-end film schools.
I will personally help each participant make their films - hands on training from a National geographic professional.
No prior filming experience will be required. Only a will to learn filmmaking and explore the world.
Places are limited.
Locations currently being looked at for the first FOUR FILMING TRIPS in 2026 & 2027 are the Peruvian Amazon, The Andes in Peru & Bolivia, the Omo Valley in Southern Ethiopia, and the Sahara in Morocco.
I will be working with location specialists from Nat Geo & BBC assignments, used to getting film crews safely & comfortably in and out of these environments.
The trips are designed to be ethically ‘best practice’ and culturally rewarding trips.
The journeys will be “off the beaten track” to remote and extraordinary places, which outsider rarely get access to - a once on a lifetime opportunity to discover the true beauty of our Planet.
